After winning the toss and electing to bat in the third and final T20 against South Africa, Sri Lanka posted 120/8 in 20 overs.

It was a dominant performance from South Africa’s bowlers – seven of whom were employed to combat Sri Lanka.

Bjorn Fortuin, once again, opened the bowling and produced impressive figures of 2/21 in his quota of four overs.

Kagiso Rabada, having been off-colour for most of this series, was back among the wickets, picking 2/23 in three overs. Aiden Markram, Keshav Maharaj, and Wiaan Mulder took a wicket each.

Markram and Maharaj, in particular, were economical, conceding 2 and 3.50 runs an over, respectively.

Sri Lanka’s batting collapsed again, with wicket-keeper-batsman, Kusal Perera scoring 39 off 33, including three boundaries.
