No luck for the Proteas bowlers as Pakistan post 104-4 at lunch on Day 2 of the 1st Test in Karachi, writes Khalid Mohidin.
Pakistan continued to add onto their overnight total of 33-4. In the first session 27 overs were bowled and 71 runs were scored at 2.63.
Azhar Ali and Fawad Alam continued to frustrate the bowlers by growing their partnership steadily.
They ended the session with an unbeaten partnership of 77.
Keshav Maharaj found some good turn and accuracy, but not the luck to match it as the desperation for a wicket is increasing.
There was a tinge of reverse swing, but not enough to bother the hosts. Kagiso Rabada is still searching for one more wicket to hit the 200 milestone.
