Boland Cricket’s Ruan Terblanche scored an incredible 323 in a 3-day trial game against Limpopo to help the former post 647/6 declared.

The 18-year-old scored 39 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 82, as Boland posted a mammoth total.

He was the main provider for his side and was helped only by Timothy Whitehead who scored 117 off 82 balls at No 7. He hit 14 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 143.

“I am very satisfied with the performance,” Terblanche exclusively to Cricket Fanatics Magazine.

“As it was a friendly, I tried to set myself different challenges outside of my comfort zone, and I’m happy it came off.

“It was important for me to bat that long so that I can learn from a young age how to approach and structure a long innings like that.

“It was a great feeling and I’m hoping to take this form further into the 3-day campaign.”

The youngster had a great season so far. He’s picked two centuries and one half-century in five matches, scoring a total of 370 runs at an average of 52.85.
