South Africa scored 163/5 in their 20 overs thanks to a solid batting performance from Aiden Markram, falling two runs short of his half-century.

A good recovery from Aiden Markram and David Miller saw the Proteas get to a respectable total on a slow pitch.

Markram came to the crease with South Africa on 73/1 after losing Quinton de Kock on 36 off 32 balls on the last ball of the 10th over.

This was after De Kock and Reeza Hendricks set a decent opening stand.

Hendricks looked to maintain his decent start, but he too fell after scoring 38 off 30 balls.

Markram took the Proteas to 152 before he fell two runs short of his half-century, with 1 over left in the match.

The Proteas lost David Miller who attempted to up the ante, losing his wicket after a handy 26 off 15 balls.

Tight bowling in the last two overs saw the Proteas post that elusive 163, Dwaine Pretorius hitting a boundary off the final ball to do so.
