A captain’s knock from Pite van Biljon coupled with a superb bowling display from Migael Pretorius secured rare silverware for the Knights.

A recently off-form Pite van Biljon walked to the middle in the sixth over with the Knights at 37-2 after another impressive start by the Dolphins opening bowlers.

Darryn Dupavillon and Ottneil Baartman were responsible for the wickets of Raynard van Tonder and Rilee Rossouw who departed in the first powerplay.

Together with top scorer Patrick Kruger (61 off 53), van Biljon steadied the ship to a respectable 123-3 in the fifteenth over.

Master finisher, Fahaarn Behardien, sealed a competitive total of 176-5 after 20 overs.

Migael Pretorius (3-30 in 4 overs) and Alfred Mothoa (2-27 in 4 overs) quickly went on the attack reducing the Dolphins to 169-6 to win the final by six runs.
