After scoring a superb century for the Titans against the Cobras, Dean Elgar said that being selected as the Proteas Test captain would be the “logical” choice and that he has been “grooming” himself for the opportunity from a personal point of view.
The Titans man was exquisite in his approach in the middle holding the Titans’ innings together in typical Elgar fashion.
He finished with 101 off 143 balls which included 15 fours.
Unfortunately his team couldn’t back him up as they were bowled out for 150.
