Dolphins batter, Grant Roelofsen, and fast bowler Ottniel Baartman set the stage alight with a brilliant 91 off 49 and 5-14 respectively to start off week 2 of the CSA T20 Challenge with a bang.

Grant Roelofsen picked up where he left off in week one with another sizzling half-century. The wicket-keeper batter brought up his third fifty in his fourth innings in the competition. His 91 came in just 49 deliveries and included 5 sixes and 6 fours. The 26-year-old is now the top run-scorer in the tournament with 234 runs and averages 58.50.

An unbeaten 40-run stand between Proteas batter, Khaya Zondo (36 off 34), and Jason Smith (25 off 12) took the Dolphins to a total of 191 for the loss of four wickets. 

Ottneil Baartman (5-14 in 2 overs), Eathan Bosch (2-3 in 2 overs) and Prenelan Subrayen (2-14 in 3 overs) ran through the Warriors batters to register a bonus point 123-run victory. Matthew Breetzke’s unbeaten 27 was the only significant score made by a Warriors batter in the first game of week 2.
