Western Province were bowled out for 312 against the Lions on Day 2 of the 4-Day Series final.

Eddie Moore and Tony de Zorzi continued to score at over 5 and over, maintaining a positive approach.
The Lions searched for ways to break the opening partnership, but this often left them searching for lines and lengths and dished out deliveries that were easy put away to the boundary. They put on 72 runs as a pair.
After taking some damage, the bowlers found a length that troubled Moore – anything short or pitched up above chest level gave him issues.
Moreki dismissed him with a short delivery which he tried to pull, but miscued to the slips. His 45 off 56 balls helped WP to 72-1.
The last hour of the first session belonged to the Lions, who picked up Yaseen Vallie for 28 and De Zorzi for 51.
WP were 147-3 by Lunch on Day 2.
After lunch Moreki trapped Verreynne lbw with a beautiful delivery and the visitors were 158-4.
Gavin Kaplan and Daniel Smith settled in nicely to take WP to 240-4 and into a 15-run lead by tea.
After tea, Kaplan lost his wicket for 60, Smith was out for 60 and Mpongwana was dismissed for 28.
The tail never added much as WP were all out for 312 with a lead of 87.
Tshepo Moreki was the top performer with the ball, taking his first ever 5-for in his career.
