Glenton Stuurman bagged an impressive five-wicket haul for the Gbets Warriors on a rain-delayed Day One of the CSA Four-Day Domestic Series Division One against the Momentum Multiply Titans at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Friday.

All the Four-Day Domestic Series matches are streamed live on SuperSport’s YouTube channel, with the first round taking place between 29 October-01 November.

With the bat, the Warriors didn’t start much better before a 162-run stand for the fourth wicket between opener Edward Moore (85* off 151 balls; 15 fours, 2 sixes) and Diego Rosier (85 off 104 balls; 16 fours, 1 six) helped carry the visitors to stumps on 196/4

In the Gauteng-North West encounter, the Imperial Lions’ off-season recruit and South African fast bowler, Duanne Olivier took four wickets for 51 runs as the Lions dismissed the North West Dragons for 159, despite an action-packed 36-ball 52 (7 fours, 3 sixes) from Wesley Marshall.

A half-century from Joshua Richards (56 off 115 balls; 9 fours) led the Lions’ first innings reply as the home side reached stumps on 127/2, trailing by 32 runs at the Imperial Wanderers.

In Cape Town, the Hollywoodbets Dolphins posted a healthy first-day total against the Six Gun Grill Western Province, ending the day’s play on 186/4 after they lost the toss and were asked to bat first. Day One of the ITEC Knights and GbetsRocks clash at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein ended without a ball being bowled following rain.
