South Africa A suffered a massive 69-run defeat to India A at Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday.

It was an easy win for India A after they posted 327-6 in their innings.

The visitors did however start off on the front foot by knocking India down 169-5 after 27 overs.

India’s recovery was solid. Shivam Dube (79 off 60 balls) and Axar Patel (60 off 36 balls) scored impressive half-centuries that took India to a solid score.

Bjorn Fortuin and Beuran Hendricks were SA’s best bowlers taking two wickets apiece.

SA only scored 258 all out, despite 110 off 108 balls from Hendricks and 58 off 43 balls from Heinrich Klaasen.

Other than that it was a challenging outing for the visiting batsmen.
