Gerald Coetzee might not have the most eye-catching stats by a pace bowler in the country, but what he does have is pace, stamina and a whole lot of heart.

The selectors have decided to back the youngster as part of the Proteas squad touring to Australia and if nothing else should serve as great practice for our batters in the nets.
