Faf du Plessis once again showed his ability to open the batting in the T20 format, despite what looked like a painful collision with Kagiso Rabada, he hit 58 off 47 balls in the Chennai Super Kings clash against the Delhi Capitals.

Du Plessis hit his fourth half-century of the campaign which included six 4s and two 6s.

He managed to bat on despite what looked like a painful collision between himself and Kagiso Rabada.

He helped them to 179-4 in 20 overs.
