Despite an excellent record-breaking partnership by Rassie van der Dussen and Faf du Plessis to take South Africa to 191/3, England made light work of the target to seal a nine-wicket win.

The Proteas bowlers were taken apart by Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler who put on a partnership of 167 off 90 balls to break the record of the biggest second partnership in T20 cricket.

This overshadowed the amazing effort from Van Der Dussen and Du Plessis who hit a record-breaking 127-run partnership.

Anrich Nortje was the only wicket-taker for the Proteas as England cruised to a victory.

Malan scored 99 off 47 balls and Buttler scored 67 off 46 balls.

England enforced their dominance by whitewashing the Proteas 3-0.
