Western Province got off to a dream start in the One-Day format with record back-to-back victories, the latest coming against the Knights in Bloemfontein.

No matter the format, Tony de Zorzi is enjoying raising his bat game after game.

The WP opener has carried over his fantastic 4-Day Series form into the One-Day Cup scoring his fourth List A ton. He has amassed over 500 runs in 4 games across formats.

De ZorI scored 133 off 118 balls.

It was a knock of complete poise and control to give his side the perfect start and platform to set a more than competitive total at the Manguang Oval. He was well supported by fellow opener Jono Bird (86 off 98) at the top, in a 200-run partnership. Then George Linde at the back end scored a blistering 34-ball 70.

George Linde continued his all-round performance and picked up three wickets along with Junaid Dawood (3/38) and Wayne Parnell (2/15) who were the chief destroyers.

WP bowled the Knights out for 160 to claim a bonus point win by 177 runs (Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method).
