Khalid Mohidin chats with Comedian, Radio Presenter and former WP Academy cricketer Dalin Oliver. Join the conversation by asking loads of questions.
Dalin Oliver is a comedian based in Cape Town. He is known for his borderline dry but yet extremely relatable comedy style that allows you to go on a comedic journey of his life experiences. He is famously known for shows like “I came , I taught, I left”, “Face for Radio”, “Day Zero” and more recently “Adulting”, a personal favourite of my own.
He also is well-liked quirky sports presenter on Cape Town-based Radio Station Goodhope FM.
But what many people don’t know, is that he has an extraordinary passion and love for cricket.
He shows this in this episode of the On Lockdown Series.
Khalid Mohidin chatted to him about various topics, such as his journey to becoming a comedian. He shared some amazing insight into what it was like to test out new content and how he went from comedy club to club to comedy club to test out new material.
He then spoke about his original dream of becoming a professional cricketer. He played provincial and club cricket and was living his passion.
We also brought on a special guest on the show, but you will have to watch to find out who. Together Dalin and the special guest picked their Proteas Test XI. This is something you have to see, as the two broke down their reasons for picking the players they did.
This episode was a fun and new way to get to know Dalin and his interests. So unbiasedly we urge you to watch this episode of On Lockdown.
