David Bedingham and Dale Steyn put in star performances with the bat and ball respectively, to claim a crucial win for the Cape Town Blitz against the Tshwane Spartans.
David Bedingham continued his sweet MSL form after following on from his 44 vs Durban Heat on Thursday.
He notched up his maiden Mzansi Super League half-century with 53 from 40 balls with five 4’s and a six which guided the Blitz to a match-winning total.
Pite van Biljon’s lone battle in an attempt to get Tshwane Spartans over the line ended with him on 62 off 42 balls with four 4’s and three 6’s aided by AB de Villiers with his 31 off 26 balls.
But the man of the moment was Dale Steyn. His figures of 3/10 in 4 overs was sublime.
A fully-fit Dale Steyn steaming in ahead of the T20 World Cup is an incredible sight to behold.
