NMB Giants vs Cape Town Blitz
Jon-Jon Smuts’ 73 lead the way for the NMB Giants in a thrilling run chase to leapfrog Cape Town Blitz and go top of the log.
Despite the explosive start by the Cape Town Blitz who at one point looked like they’d easily get 200 on the board, they managed to post 186/9 with 30’s from Janneman Malan, Quinton de Kock and Liam Livingstone.
Anrich Nortje and Dale Steyn continued to show how formidable their bowling attack is by striking early blows to leave the Giants 2 down for 3 runs.
The skipper was dropped on 4 and made it count by leading the way for his side. He was aided well by a fiery 40* off 20 from Marco Marais and Chris Morris ending it in style to remain unbeaten on 19 off 9 balls.

Tshwane Spartans vs Durban Heat.
Rain continues to play its part. The Tshwane Spartans will feel hard done by but the Durban Heat will surely be pleased with the bad weather.
