Their top scorers were Jeremy Solozano (111) and Shamar Springer (131).

South Africa allowed all of their bowlers to have time in the middle. Kagiso Rabada (3-47) and Dane Piedt (3-41) were the top wicket-takers. Keshav Maharaj was the next best with 2-82. Dane Paterson and Migael Pretorius took one apiece.

South Africa’s batting performance was highlighted by Temba Bavuma (51 retired out), David Bedingham (74 retired out), Ryan Rickelton (80 retired out), and Kyle Verreynne (65 retired out).

They ended Day 3 on 408-8 with a lead of 11 runs.
