Wiaan Mulder scored 147 to help South Africa set a mammoth 537-run target to win for Zimbabwe on Day 3 of the first Test. 

South Africa started the morning on 49-1 and a lead by 216. 

De Zori was the first wicket to fall in the morning session. He hung his bat out at a wide Chivanga delivery and it flew slowly to second slip. 

Wiaan Mulder brought up his second Test half-century, playing with caution brining it up in 89 balls. 

Bedingham looked good for his 35 off 38 balls, helping SA pass the 100-run mark, but he frustratingly pulled the ball to midwicket. SA were now 136-3. 

South Africa managed to take their lead past 300, but Pretorius (4) was next to go, bowled by Vincent Masekesa and South Africa was reduced to 141-4. 

Brevis also was bowled by the spinner Masekesa reducing SA to 155-5. 

Mulder continued to anchor the innings, scoring his second Test century and taking the Proteas’ lead past 350. 

He made it till 147, taking South Africa to 259 before he was dissmised by Madhevere, followed by Verreynne for 36 dismissed by Masakadza. 

Corbin Bosch and Keshav Maharaj took the lead to 503 by Tea. 

Maharaj brought up his 6th half-century taking SA past 351 and the lead to 518. Then shortly after he lost his partner Bosch for 36, bowled by Masakadza. 

Masakadza then dismissed Maharaj for 51, SA were now nine down for 352. 

Muzarabani took the last wicket of Kwena Maphaka and South Africa were all out for 369, setting a target of 537 for Zimbabwe to win. 

Corbin Bosch took a wicket at the end of the day, and Zimbabwe ended the day 32-1 needing 505 to win.
