After covering the squad announcement on our Daily Show, and reading some of the comments on social media, I got a sense that the criticism towards the selection of the SA ‘A’ does not hold a lot of weight.

I believe that fans have the right to express their opinions, but it would help to better the community if we seek to understand before criticizing.

Nonetheless, we live in a reality where you can’t please everyone and it’s near impossible to change someone’s opinion, so I will provide information that could potentially make you think differently based on criticisms I have seen.

The main criticism is that there is only one spinner in the side. I made the mistake of only waiting till after the show to do a quick Google search to see what the conditions are likely to be in Sri Lanka during the period of the tour.
