Titans vs Warriors

The Warriors posted 185/5 in their 20 overs.

Jiveshan Pillay scored 50 off 37 balls at the top and Marco Jansen’s 4 fours and 4 sixes for his 34-ball 34, were crucial contributions to get the Warriors to a very solid total.

Tristan Stubbs (27 off 18 balls) and Patrick Kruger (17 off 7 balls) provided quick-fire knocks at the back of the innings.

The Titans took the game to the wire in their chase. Dewald Brevis starred with the bat scoring 50 off 29 balls.

A late push from Dayyaan Galiem (32 off 12 balls) was effective but not enough, as the Titans fell 2 runs short of victory.

The Warriors kept their unbeaten record in the tournament.

WP vs NW Dragons

Western Province scored a competitive total of 188/7.

Contributions from David Bedingham (26 off 21 balls), Jonathan Bird (42 off 29 balls), and Kyle Verreynne (42 off 30 balls) upfront, were crucial to get the home side to 145/5 in 16.1 overs.

Cameos from Wayne Parnell (21 off 14 balls) and Abdullah Bayoumy (12 off 5 balls) at the back end got WP to a respectable total.

Rubin Hermann took the game deep with his 90 off 54 balls, but North West fell 4 runs short of victory.

Beuran Hendricks was the pick of the bowlers with his 2-28. WP completed their third win of the tournament.

Dolphins vs Lions

The Lions’ innings was held together by Temba Bavuma, who scored 53 off 40 balls. He stuck around till the end, to see the visitors post 155/5 in 20 overs.

Other contributors were Rassie van der Dussen who scored 28 off 21 balls and was the second wicket to fall with the Lions on 47 after 6.4 overs.

Mitchell van Buuren contributed 25 off 16 balls and Delano Potgieter 17 off 6 balls, two crucial knocks at the back end to help their side post a decent total.

The Dolphins put in a magnificent fight to confirm their first win of the tournament. Bryce Parsons’ 62 off 49 balls took his side over the line. The Dolphins scored 159/6 in 19.1 overs to claim a four-wicket win.
