Our season kicked off with the SA vs AUS series in what promises to be a great summer of cricket.
And we are preparing to cover everything in our shows, our magazine, our articles and our social media feeds.
While this is exciting, we can’t ignore the sombre state our cricket is in.
Our cricket is not in a good state financially, struggling to get sponsors, having almost non-existent Test cricket and lean winter months, with none of the usual tours taking place.
As a small self-funded, independent fan magazine, we understand the struggle that businesses involved in South African cricket are going through.
Despite our love for the sport, if we don’t make cricket economically viable, it will die a painful death and we will all suffer.
