South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 7 wickets in their 3rd Tri-Series clash and will take on New Zealand in the final. 

South Africa won the toss and elected to bowl first. 

Zimbabwe reached 18 without loss in 3.3 overs, when South Africa struck through Corbin Bosch.  Wessly Madhevere picking out mid off. 

They made it to 28 in 5 overs, then Bosch struck again, rushing Clive Madande who skied it for a simple catch by the bowler. 

They took the score to 44 in 8 overs when Nqaba Peter got the big wicket of Sikandar Raza who picked out the deep square-leg fielder. 

Brian Bennett took Zimbabwe to 122 in 16 overs with a 43-ball 61, before Lungi Ngidi’s slower ball yorker sent him back to the dugout. 

Ryan Burl’s 36 off 31 was important, as the hosts posted 144-6 in 20 overs. 

Bosch was SA’s best bowler with 2-16. 

Both Proteas openers were dismissed early. SA were 22-2 after 4.1 overs. 

Rubin Hermann and Rassie van der Dussen kicked on. 

Hermann scored his maiden half century. He shared a stand of 106 (68) contributing 63 off 36 balls (3 fours, 4 sixes) with a strike rate of 175. He was bowled in the 16th over. 

Van Der Dussen scored 52 off 42 balls and Dewald Brevis 13 off 7. 

South Africa won by 7 wickets and will meet New Zealand in the final on Saturday.
