Another Disappointing outing for the Proteas in Harare as they fell short against a well-drilled New Zealand side, losing by 7 wickets in their third Tri-Series game.

It was a slightly overcast day in Harare for South Africa’s third Tri-Series game.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to field first.

After the first 10 overs, New Zealand was definitely on top, with South Africa at 55-3. The Proteas were struggling to score runs as the batters struggled to gain some momentum due to the excellent bowling.

South Africa only managed to score 134 from their 20 overs, which is a fairly low score.

Reeza Hendricks was the standout, scoring 41 from 37 balls. Adam Milne was the standout bowler for the Blackcaps, taking 2-21.

New Zealand needed 135 to win.

It was a fairly easy chase for the Blackcaps as they were 84-2 after 10 overs.

The fielding from the Proteas was fairly poor, and it led to a lot of runs being given away easily.

New Zealand eventually reached their target towards the end of the 15th over taking them to a 7 wicket victory.

Tim Seifert was the standout batsman scoring 66* from 48 balls.

Senuran Muthusamy was the standout bowler for the Proteas, taking 2-24.

The 2 teams will meet each other again in the final of this Tri-Series on Saturday. Will the Blackcaps make it 3 wins in a row, or will South Africa finally get their revenge?
