Millions of cricket fans in South Africa, England and the rest of the cricketing world pay attention when South Africa tours England.

Whether it be at Lord’s (the home of cricket), The Oval (where the first international match in England was played) or Old Trafford (the second oldest test venue, where Shane Warne bowled Mike Gatting with the “ball of the century), a tour of England has unbridled nostalgia.

We will therefore be producing content that taps into this nostalgia.

I will be going to England to personally cover the tour as a cricket fanatic and as a journalist.

The story will be told in a unique way by capturing the excitement of a fan, while maintaining journalistic professionalism.

We are able to do this affordably as a small independent fan-focused media company, which is difficult to impossible with bigger media houses.
