South Africa A put in a tidy bowling performance in the two-day fourth ODI against India A to win by four runs (D/L method) on Thursday in Thiruvananthapuram.

It was a much better display by SA A after their turmoil first three ODIs which saw the hosts clinch an unassailable 3-0 lead.

On a day hampered by rain, they got a better start with the bat. Reeza Hendricks led the way again with a sturdy 60 off 70 balls. He built a decent partnership with Temba Bavuma before the latter retired hurt and then had a decent run with Heinrich Klaassen who contributed three sixes for his 12-ball 21 to take SA A to 137-1 after a reduced 25 overs.

But the rain again returned with the Asian side, already 3-0 up in the five-match series, on 56 for one in 7.4 overs.
