Rohit Sharma brought up his first Test double-century on day two of the third Test at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi, while George Linde finished with 4-133, writes Ongama Gcwabe.

Having ended the first session on 199*, Sharma brought-up his double century with a six off the bowling of Lungi Ngidi.

India continued to pile-up the runs as they added 140 runs in the second session for the loss of five wickets.

Kagiso Rabada bagged his third of the innings when he removed Sharma for a well-played 212 off 255 balls, while George Linde dismissed Wriddhiman Saha, Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav in the session.

Dane Piedt chipped in with his first wicket of the tour to grab the fourth wicket of the session for the visitors.

India declared on 497/9.
