South Africa A suffered a 36-run defeat which saw India A win the unofficial ODI series 4-1.
Yet again, weather played it’s part and the match was delayed and then reduced to 20 overs per side.
India A won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted a massive 204/4 with Indian stalwart Shikhar Dhawan registering a half century and Sanju Samson scoring 91 off 48. Shreyas Iyer also contributed with 36 off 19.
SA A in pursuit of 205, fell short by 36 runs as India A bowled them out for 168.
The main contributors was once again Reeza Hendricks, scoring 59 off 43 sharing in a vital partnership with Kyle Verreynne who played brilliantly for his 44 off 24.
Janneman Malan (16), Heinrich Klaasen (14) and Sinethemba Qeshile (16) all contributed.
