His century was crucial in reducing Pakistan’s lead.
The Proteas bowled very well during the third innings restricting Pakistan to just 167 runs.
Senuran Muthusamy was brilliant again, taking another five-wicket haul.
His control and variation kept Pakistan’s batters guessing and played a key role in keeping the total as low as possible.
Simon Harmer was also brilliant taking 4-51.
The Proteas ended the day 51-2 after Pakistan managed to get the wickets of Markram and Mulder towards the end of play.
