Our Proteas bowlers finally delivered the death bowling skills we were asking for to help the Proteas register a series leveling victory, writes Ongama Gcwabe from Port Elizabeth.

St George’s Park was packed for the second T20I between the Proteas and the Ausies. The crowd was electric and stood behind the boys as they pulled-up an amazing series leveling win.

Proteas captain, Quinton de Kock (70 off 47), led from the front once again in a crunch game to set up a competitive 158-4.

Kagiso Rabada (1-27 in 4 overs) and Anrich Nortje (1-24 in 4 overs) produced amazing death-bowling skills to wrap-up a 12-run victory for the Proteas.

The fight back from the Proteas was sensational. They showed incredible composure to clinch a crucial victory and shake off what was a crushing defeat at the Wanderers.

The road leads to the iconic Newlands Stadium for the series decider.
