South Africa were bowled out for just 110 after being sent in to bat by Pakistan in the second T20I at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Dewald Brevis top-scored for the visitors with a quick 25 off 16 balls, which included three sixes, but wickets fell regularly as Faheem Ashraf starred with the ball, taking 4 for 23.
In reply, Pakistan made light work of the chase. Saim Ayub led the charge with a blistering 71 off 38 deliveries, hitting six fours and five sixes, as the hosts cruised to a nine-wicket victory.
With the series now level at 1–1, the decider will be played on Sunday, 1 November.
