Fixtures for Game Day 4 saw Easterns take on Western Province, Lions take on North West and KZN Coastal take on Northerns.
KZN Coastal vs Northerns:
Number 8 batter and superstar bowler Nonkululeko Mlaba, top-scored for KZN Coastal on Game Day 4, scoring 56* off 61 balls, with eight 4s. Chloe Tryon contributed once again with 39 off 42, before being dismissed lbw by Ricea Coetzer.
Five solid contributions and chip-ins from the rest of the side saw KZN Coastal reach 231-9 in their 50 overs. Kay-Leigh Tapp was the pick of the bowlers for Northerns, taking 3-33 in 10 overs. Northerns came out to bat, needing 232 to win.
Suné Luus and Coetzer scored 47* and 30 respectively, but it wasn’t enough to win the game, as the rest of the team barely got into double figures. Mlaba was the stand-out bowler for KZN Coastal picking up 4-19 in 6 overs. Northerns were bowled out for 147 in 40 overs, and thus KZN Coastal won by 84 runs.
Easterns vs Western Province:
