Will Grant Morgan’s appointment as assistant coach of Scotland spark a string of exits of local coaches to seek for overseas positions?

Morgan decided to leave the Kwa-Zulu Natal to join up as an assistant coach with Scotland as reported on Monday, and he said the opportunity to work with Shane Burger was too good to pass up.
“I know the head coach [Shane Burger] well and he is a massively passionate and astute cricketing man and to serve Scotland with him is the highlight of my 26 years of coaching at all levels,” Morgan told Cricket Scotland’s website
Despite having 26 years of coaching experience to his credit which included time as coach of South Africa U19, Morgan is yet to get a look in at senior tea.
International roles are the pinnacle for any coach and perhaps Morgan feels the Scotland job is a golden opportunity to gain experience in the International arena.
Much like the Kolpak player drain of the last few years where fringe Proteas players went abroad, many South Africans will hope that a similar situation does not occur on the coaching front in the years to come if coaches believe they aren’t in contention for the national
