Liam Livingstone shone with the bat in front of the Blitz Brigade for the Cape Town Blitz’ first home game of the MSL 2.0 with his 65 off 41 deliveries.
The Englishman showed his amazing range hitting by entertaining the crowd with 5 sixes and 3 fours which steered the home side to a competitive 183/6.
The Cape Town Blitz have now managed the double over the Jozi Stars and registered a bonus point with a 56-run victory over the defending champions who are yet to buy a win after 3 games.
The victory helped the Blitz bounce back after a hefty defeat to their city rivals the Paarl Rocks in their second match of the campaign.
