If the Proteas’ IPL stars are not available for the Bangladesh series, who will replace them in the starting Test XI?

The IPL begins runs from 26 March 2022 till 29 May 2022 and the chances are high that the Proteas players who have IPL contracts will not be involved in Bangladesh’s tour to South Africa in March/April.

The Bangladesh series will consist of a three-match One-Day International and two-match Test series across four venues from 18 March to 12 April 2022.

The Test series specifically starts on Thursday, 31 March and the second Test on Friday, 08 April 2022.

The likes of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Rassie van der Dussen, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi and Marco Jansen all were signed in the IPL Mega Auction.
