Knights Cubs vs Warriors Cubs
The Knights Cubs won the toss and elected to bat first. They posted a total of 226-8 in their 50 overs. Their stand out batsman was GJ Maree who scored 71 off 78 balls. The Dolphins Cubs won the toss and elected to bat first. Luc Benkenstein top scored with 60 runs off 105 balls. The Dolphins posted a total of 241-8. Caleb Seleka was the best bowler for the Lions, picking up 3 wickets with an economy of 3.50. The Lions Cubs then struggled in their innings, with Ronan Herrmann top scoring with 36 runs off 39 balls. Colby Dyer was the pick of the bowlers for the Dolphins, taking 3 wickets with an economy of 3.10. The Dolphins Cubs won by 51 runs.
Cobras Cubs vs Titans Cubs
The Cobras Cubs won the toss and elected to bat first. Opening pair Ethan Cunningham and Daniel Smith put on a partnership of 123 runs for the first wicket. Ethan Cunningham brought his 50 up with a boundary, but shortly after was dismissed, departing for 53 runs off 80 balls. Daniel Smith scored 72 off 103, and Nicholas Keevy also contributed with 64 runs off 63 balls. The Titans used 9 bowlers, in pursuit to take wickets. The Cobras ended with a very competitive total of 274-7. The Titans Cubs then came out to bat with standout Jan-Hendrik (Hardus) Coetzer scoring 102 off 95 balls, and Christiaan Daniels scoring 54 off 38 balls. The Cobras Cubs won narrowly by 5 runs, bowling the Titans out for 269 in 49.3 overs. Michael Levitt picked up 4 wickets and Salmaan Ajam picked up 3.
