Jansen bowled a superb final over in which he had to defend nine runs against an in form Janneman and Ferisco Adams. Dragons won by three runs and will face Knights in the semifinals.
Earlier, Eben Botha [41 off 34] and Lesego Senokwane [40 off 30] put on a 59-run partnership that took the Dragons from 45-4 to 104-5.
Jansen’s unbeaten knock of 27 off 21 was instrumental to setting a respectable score that the Dragons bowlers could attempt to defend.
Hardus Viljoen and Adams took two wickets apiece as they restricted the Dragons to 156-8 after 20 overs.
