Former South African speedster, Dale Steyn, has been formally announced as the IPL franchise, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Bowling Coach.

Steyn returns to the SRH fold, having previously been a part of the franchise as a player.

Steyn joins a powerhouse coaching unit consisting of Tom Moody as Head Coach, Simon Katich as Assistant Coach, Brian Lara as Batting Coach and Strategic Advisor, and Hemang Badani as Fielding Coach and Talent Scout. Former Sri Lanka spin wizard, Muttiah Muralitharan will continue in his role as Spin Bowling Coach. 

In August 2021, Steyn retired from all forms of cricket. In his IPL career, he played in 95 games and took 97 wickets with a 25.85 average.
