Bangladesh were calm and chased down the target with ease.
Tamim Iqbal led the way assisted by Litton Das as they brought up the highest opening partnership against South Africa – 127 runs off 125 balls until Das lost his wicket to Maharaj on 48.
Shakib Al Hasan sealed the win with a boundary.
Tamim ended with 87 off 82 balls.
