Aiden Markram scored his third IPL half-century to take the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a competitive 195/6.

In the IPL fixture between the Gujarat Titans and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, SRH batted first, and finished with a mighty competitive score of 195/6. SRH’s batting effort was led by Abhishek Sharma, who scored 65 off 42, and Aiden Markram, who contributed with a valuable 56 off 40.

Markram and Sharma put on a 96-run partnership that set up the foundation of SRH’s innings. In the early part of Markram’s innings, he rotated strike to ensure that Sharma could keep the run-rate going.

Soon after, Markram unleashed a wide array of strokes, particularly against speedster, Lockie Ferguson, and ace spinner, Rashid Khan. Markram’s 56-run knock included two boundaries and three sixes.

Unfortunately for Markram, his half-century came in a losing cause, as the Gujarat Titans pulled off a sensational chase that went down to the wire.
