Watch Faf du Plessis and the Paarl Rocks players in a light you haven’t seen them before in this exclusive behind-the-scenes vlog.
What an experience. I took my team to Paarl for an afternoon press conference. The opening Paarl Rocks press conference to unlock their new season. There was a buzz of confidence around the room, players were in good spirit and so was the the Rocks captain Faf du Plessis, who had a graceful aura.
After the press conference, my team and I had the chance to meet the players and familiarize themselves with the likes of Faf du Plessis, JP Duminy and Bjorn Fortuin.
All of them made it very easy for us to approach them and have some fun with them.
Naeemah and Nabeelah got to ask the players some fun questions and their response was laid back and we got see a side of them we don’t usually see.
I proceeded to do my interviews and the the players were honest and open with their views, especially Faf, who took a phone call just before my interview with him.
They had their photoshoot after the presser at Boschenmeer Golf Estate. Once again we got the opportunity to see the players in a light we don’t normally see them in.
We then went to Boland Park for their training session. Here my team got free rein to take footage of their net session and some cool Q&A’s with some of the players.
