Proteas Men’s seamer Ottneil Baartman has been ruled out of the three-match Dafabet One-Day International (ODI) series against Australia due to a left hamstring injury.
Baartman sustained the injury while playing for the Hollywoodbets Dolphins in their opening 1st Class Series match against the Momentum Multiply Titans earlier this week.
He will undergo further medical assessment with the Dolphins to determine his rehabilitation and return to play timeframe.
Titans all-rounder Duan Jansen has been named as his replacement.
The ODI squad will convene in Durban on 19 September.
