The Proteas had a quick end to their innings on Day 2 of the 1st Test. Three wickets in 18 minutes saw the Proteas all out for 320, adding just 9 runs to their overnight score.

Kagiso Rabada consistently hit the patch at the Golf Course End and got his reward, Kraigg Brathwaite (17) found an edge and Dean Elgar took a stunning low catch at first slip.

In came Simon Harmer to join the attack, but it was Gerald Coetzee that came in from the Corlett Drive end, who found the edge of Jermaine Blackwood after hitting that same patch that I have been ranting on about for days.
