Lions vs Knights
Day two got underway in Pietermaritzburg with the Dolphins looking add to their overnight score of 234/4. The Dolphins lost the wicket of Andile Phehlukwayo early on in the day courtesy of Nandre Burger. Burger then removed the dangerous all-rounder in Robbie Frylinck for a duck. Tsepo Ndwandwa got the big wicket of Grant Roelofsen for a well-made 133.
Rain brought a premature end to day two with the Dolphins on 325/9.

Dolphins vs Cobras
The Lions continued where they left off on day one, scoring big runs at a healthy rate. They declared on 468/4, with Reeza Hendricks registering his highest first-class score with his 168, he received support from Nicky van den Bergh 116. Nono Pongolo and Malusi Siboto were the only Lions bowlers to claim wickets on day two. The Lions could only bowl 61.2 overs before bad light interfered with the day’s play.
Knights will continue on 173/3 with captain, Pite van Biljon, and Patrick Kruger in the middle.

Warriors vs Titans
Yaseen Vallie eased to his first century of the season while Rudi Second could only manage to make 81 runs as the Warriors added 163 runs before they declared on 364-9. The experience of Andrew Birch and Jon-Jon Smuts ensured that the warriors have a healthy lead at the close of play on day two.
Titans managed 140/3 at the end of day two. Smuts’ figures of 2/28 were the best for the Warriors on day two.
